Objectives of the Study
The primary goal of this study is to develop a set of strategies for improving access to land resources for plainland indigenous communities in the north-western part of Bangladesh. The primary objectives of the study are also as follows:
- Assessing the current state of land access for the target communities, identifying the key challenges, and understanding the legal and policy frameworks governing land rights in the region.
- To identify specific challenges, barriers, and legal frameworks affecting land ownership and access for these communities.
- Identifying successful initiatives, best practices, and case studies from other regions or countries that have effectively improved land access for marginalized communities.
- Engaging with local stakeholders, including community members, government authorities, and non-governmental organizations, to gather insights, perspectives, and recommendations on potential strategies for enhancing land access.
- To formulate a set of comprehensive and contextually relevant strategies to enhance land access for plainland indigenous communities.
